Site specific Light installation. Hungary, 2024

At the INOTA Festival, Mareo transformed the 60-meter cooling tower of the former Inota power plant into a monumental site-specific installation. Once a symbol of industrial power, the structure became a surface for reflection on the relationship between technology, nature, and transformation.

Through subtle fissures of light across the concrete, the work introduced a dialogue between rigid industrial form and organic forces.

Visible across the surrounding landscape, the installation invites a renewed perception of industrial heritage, suggesting that even the most solid structures can hold space for change, connection, and evolution.
