Portals explores the landscape as a threshold between the material and the spiritual. Rooted in natural forces and architectural thinking, Mareo’s work centers on the crack as both rupture and connection, an opening into transformation and light.

Inspired by Malta’s mineral terrain, the exhibition unfolds as an immersive experience where space, matter, and perception converge, inviting a deeper reflection on our relationship with nature and the unseen.
